Tony is one of the founding members and owners of WestLAN. He has over 30 years’ experience working in the IT industry. Tony spent 15 years working in management roles in the UK and Australia before returning to Ireland in 2000 to set up WestLAN Data Networks. Tony has extensive financial and operational experience. Since setting up WestLAN, Tony has managed the development and growth of the business, which is now one of Ireland’s leading structured cabling companies.
Eoin has over 15 years Sales and Business Management experience. Eoin joined WestLAN Data Networks in 2018 as National Sales Manager with the responsibility of managing existing accounts and developing new business. After a successful 2 years in his sales role, Eoin was appointed Managing Director in January 2020. Eoin has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from LIT and is also CNIDP qualified (Certified Network Infrastructure Design Professional).
Tom has worked in the Data Communications Industry since 1989. With Sita, the global airline telecommunication company, he gained vast experience in WAN networks. Moving into the LAN area he became a Cisco CCIE in 1993. Citibanks European wide network was one of the networks he supported while working on Sita’s Cisco TAC. One of the founding members and owners of WestLAN, Tom has been the Technical Director since its inception in 2000. A BiCSi qualified RCDD Tom has the expertise to design, project manage and support all aspects of IT Infrastructure for Enterprise companies including structured cabling and active network equipment.
Jonathan Dunne is the Estimating Manager at WestLAN Data Networks, bringing over 15 years of experience in estimation, procurement, and quality management. Since joining WestLAN over five years ago, Jonathan has played a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. With a Professional Academy Diploma in Project Management from UCD and certifications in Lean Six Sigma, Occupational Health & Safety, and Lean Construction, Jonathan combines expertise from both construction and data network sectors to drive operational efficiency and project success.
Gerard has over 15 years experience in Contracts Management in the Telecoms & ICT industry. Gerard worked as a Construction Supervisor for a number of years in Australia with clients such as BNEC and DATATEL. Gerard joined WestLAN Data Networks in 2018 as Contracts Manager and since then has been promoted to the position of Contracts Director in 2024. Gerard has a Certificate in Telecommunications Operation and is CNCI certified.
Niall has over 20 years of experience in the Structured Cabling industry. Niall has worked with WestLAN Data Networks for over 5 years and within this time he has progressed from Site Supervisor to Junior Contracts Manager. Niall is a Certified Leviton, Excel and Corning Installer.
